New years!

I'm sorry for not being active . I've been at camping for nearly the past week so yeah but guys it the last day of 2020. Day 365 of 365 ! We have all made it ! Thank you God ! We all our fare welling 2020 and hoping that 2021 will be a better year for us all. Even though this year has been weird and messy but we all have learnt a lot from this year. One thing I have learnt this year is that things always don't turn out the way you want it to and that in bad times you will eventually get through them . But HAPPY NEW YEAR Y"ALL!!

Friday was my last day sadly. It was so hard because I have been at Hay Park for 6 years and it was my first time leaving to move to another school. I stared my day of with and cry and my lovely teacher gave me and my best friend a talk about life. We went on with the day and then it came to the end of the day. Our teacher gave the whole class a talk and gave us little bits and pieces. The whole school all went to the hall and that's where we said our goodbye. Our principle had her little speech then she let us go. I and my best friend- (Makeleta) turn to the wall and start bursting into tears knowing how much we will miss he school.  We start off by hugging our wonderful teacher then we hugged all the other teachers and students. How has your holiday been so far ? Mine one has been busy but fun and it's like only the first day to the holidays ! Sorry I haven't been posting because I have been busy so I will be posting the SLJ- Summer learning journey activities that I have been missing out on. So our activity on last Wednesday was Optical Illusion .  We had to make our won Illusion so here is mine. Check it out down below !

How has your week been so far. Mines been busy and it's only Monday . So today it's the first day of SLJ-(Summer Learning Journey ). Our task for today was to write a quality bog comment into a goggle doc and then Copy + Paste it into that persons blog. How has your day been so far? So this term Our senior school has been so lucky to be able to participate in the Zepri young and healthy virtual adventure! So if you don't know what that is it's this well being program. We had Pedometers and they count how many steps you take. We then had to fill out a form daily about how many steps we take and what we have been getting up to. We then got given questions about how it was participating in the Zepri young and healthy Virtual adventure. Check out me answering the question down below. Thanks for checking out my blog !

DAY 1: EXPLORERS - Setting Sail

How has your week been so far? Mine has been fun but busy. Today Our senior school had a go at SLJ- (Summer Learning Journey). We had a go at our other task for this year so our teacher decided to get us to do the one from last year. So the task was to list 10 - food items things you would on a ocean voyage and the reasons you would take them along with you. Check out what I would bring along with me down below.

1. Water - ( To keep you hydrated)

2. Fruits - ( They give you vitamins)

3. Nuts -  ( It gives you fibre and protein)
4. Crackers - ( High in in fibre and low in sodium 

5. Energy bars - ( It gives you Energy)

6.  Candy - (  It gives you a bit of sugar )

7.  Canned soup - ( Soup gives you energy)

8. Powder milk - ( It lasted quite a while and you just need water with it) 

9. Raisins - ( They are dried up fruit )

10. Beef jerky - ( It has protein in it )

Today has been a very busy day. Our teacher decided for Christmas she wanted to make candles with us not just any kind but soy candles.  We had so much fun and I enjoyed making it too. If you want to know how to make soy candles check out the method down below.

How to make soy candles 

Ingredients - Measuring spoon, Measuring cup, Pouring jar  , Double Boiler, Tealight holder, Wicks, Thermometer

Steps

1.  First you need to fill your double boiler to a quarter.

2. Then you you put it on your stove and let it heat up.

3. After you do that you get another pot but a little smaller and put 200-grams of wax using A measuring spoon or measuring sup. 

5. When you do that you have to put it in the double boiler and keep on mixing because if you don't mix the wax will stick to the pot.

6. Once it is all melted put a essence of your choice then keep on mixing it.

7. After doing that you have to get the wick and put it in the cup for your wax.

8. Once that is done you have to to let it sit for over a night,then y
ou can light it up.

Hey World of bloggers! 

How have you all been doing? Well I have been doing great and today as you can tell by the title is what I'm going to be talking about. So today has been so fun! Well as part as the Hay Park way some kids choose mufti as a class and disco for you and your class. Faisa choosed mufti and Haunga chooses disco with your class. We all had a class secret Santa. We all brought our present and we also had a shared lunch.

So our teacher planed to have are disco at lunch and then after lunch we have are shared lunch. At our Disco we put on music and we all danced along to the music. We all got tired so we rested and after we rested we got back up and danced. After our Shared lunch we all cleaned up the class and we all sat on the mat. Our teacher then went to the table that the present were put on and handed the presents out. As she was handing out the presents she aloud me to take picture of the class and their presents. 

We were all so happy of what we got and I was so happy what I got too! Well I got a little note book with a pen . It was so much fun today ! Well check out some pictures we took today down below ! Thxzz for checking out my blog and have great rest of your day !

𝓣𝓪𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓲𝓭 𝓡𝓮𝓯𝓵𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷

Kia Ora whanau!

How are you all doing ? I'm doing fine. Lately the senior classes Rm- 6,8 and 9 have all been doing Tabloids sports. If you don't know what Tabloids are well it this sport where you go around courses. In the courses you do activities where you can do running,crawling and all that kind of stuff. Well Yesterday my class -( Lockhart ) got a chance to participate and also teach. 

So we all have are own groups and in our groups we got a card. Where it has an game and our game was - Tug of war. We then had to setup the game and stuff like that. After setting up the game we had to explain the instructions to the kids so they could understand. After explaining we also demonstrate how to play it so they could understand. The reason why we did this was to get us kids to have the chance and experience of how it is to teach. Not just because of that it also gave us the chance to build the confidence to talk and communicate with others. 

Down below is what went well during us teaching tabloid sports

Things that went great during the Tabloid were :

- The kids were listening

- Everyone participated

- Kids found it fun 

Things that didn't go well during 

- A few kids were mocking around and doing there own things

-  Us leaders had to repeat and shout over people 

A few things I learnt doing Tabloid sports was :

- That by communicating with others it makes things easier

- If you Demonstrate it would make it easier for the participates to understand 

Well TBH I think everyone did well and it was a bunch of fun ! Here are some pictures down below the teachers took through out the day.
