So he ran in crying and praying...... Just about 2 minutes after my uncle ruining in. He came back out with him daughter in his hand. We all stared laughing and cheering because how relief we were. Kia ora Gaylene,
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope you have been enjoying this holiday period and have had some happy moments with your whānau. I was lucky enough to get away with my son and spend some quality time with him and my immediate family. We spent a lot of time at the beach enjoying the beautiful sunshine. What have you been up to this summer?
What a beautiful thing you have done choosing your Uncle to profile as your brave hero. Wow, I am so sorry to hear that you had to go through such a scary situation. I am so relieved to hear that your little cousin survived this horrific ordeal. How are they doing now?
In my opinion, it is not only your Uncle that had to brave in that situation, you and your whānau sounded as though you were extremely brave as well. This must have been so hard to watch in anticipation as your Uncle ran back into the house.
Thank you for sharing such a personal story about your happy ending.I thoroughly enjoyed reading your work, Gaylene, and I hope that you will continue blogging with us over the summer.
Ngā mihi,
Megan
