Basketball session 2

Today we went to our basketball session and we learnt different skills. We learnt passing skills like overhead, shoulder, chestpass, bounce, push past. We were also lucky to have a game at the end.

My favourite skill we learnt was the bounce one because it east for the other person to catch the ball.

My favourite skill for pass was push past because if someone is in front of you and you can't pass it to anyone. You firstly take a step to your (left or right) then you pass the ball by pushing it.I also loved the game but the games purpose was communication with each other.

I loved the game and I loved how the boys know who to pass it to. I also liked  there  communication with each other. Something I also learnt that if you put your weight on one of your legs you might lose your balance.

We were fortunate to have a basketball coach come in and to teach us. I have learnt a couple of new  skills. One of the skills was called stance which is used if you are having stop. First you jump and then legs apart, hands facing out.

I found out that when you dribble the ball you dribble it with your paws not your palm. In also learnt that it is important to look up when your dribbling the ball because if you look down at the ball someone might snatch the ball of you. One of my other favorite skills is when we had to do the jump stop because it was cool and fun.

I like basketball and It is now my 5th favourite sports now but my first favourite sports is still Netball.I love Basketball.

How my holidays are going

Today I going to be sharing some thing I have been and thing that I like about my holidays.I am also going to be telling you something that I find boring this holiday. Please feel free to read .

So where do we start ?? So the first couple of days I been spending time at my cousins house because my mum has to go work and my dad went to Australia. Something I enjoyed there was getting to spend time with cousins and the boring highlight was having to look after 3 of my naughty cousins.

Luckily, we were back home on Tuesday. We were back home which has been the part I was waiting for, but the day after that and the rest of the week was boring as. The week after that was kind of fun but boring . I am sleeping , Mum is gone work , Dads super glued to his phone , My 2 brother are playing silly games in there room , and my sister is playing with Barbie dolls . Which is so mundane .

Then to the week ends we were planing to go movies with cousins. Here was the plan all kids go movie with aunt, dad enjoys his time with uncles, and my mom and my other aunt go to a funeral.
That was pretty much my holidays. Tell me about yours . What did you find boring ? What did you find fun ? What was your favorite highlight to the day and last of all what was the BEST thing during the holidays ?

Toolkit

Hello world of bloggers ,
Some of you may have came to Hay Park School for student toolkit  . This day was so fun and busy.
I met a lot of people and made friends with some kids. This was the day Hay Park School really had to step up and take the lead. For some kids it was a bit hard because some were rushing around helping which was including me .

Here are some writing of my reflation on the day and hope you enjoy

My reflection: Today was a fun and very challenging with some of the task but fun. Today has been filled with learning and lots of meeting . Today we had 7 other school around Mt roskill come over to Hay Park school such as May Road , New windsor , wesley primary , wesley intermediate , waikowhai primary , christ the king, Owairaka primary and 1 more I think that I do not know . I love this that is was full of happiness and laughter. My favourite highlight of the day is presenting . My Favourite session that I have attended was the HP reveal with the Ipads. I have enjoined this day and I think it is the best day of my life .
