Year-6 Visit to Intermediate

Kia ora world of bloggers,
Today I am going to be sharing with you guys my experience while I visited Waikowhai Intermediate. So today me and the rest of the year sixes went to visit - Waikowhai Intermediate. My school is quite lucky because Waikowhai Intermediate is just right next door to our school. So we walked over with one of our teacher Mrs Eagleson . One fun thing that we did when we first arrived was watching their Choir, Dance, and there Kapa Haka perform. Second thing we did there was explore the school. We discovered different classes at there school. The best thing about Waikowhai is there are special classes such as art classes, Cooking classes, Instrument classes, Drama classes, Language classes and much more other classes. Bye Bye Thanks for reading

ℍ𝕠𝕝𝕚𝕕𝕒𝕪𝕤!

Hi world of bloggers,
How are all of you guys doing? I hope you guys had an amazing holiday with your family and friends.I had an amazing holiday with my family but also a mundane holiday. I got up to a few stuff like baking, crafting, shopping and more. But I had one that I really enjoyed which was golf.Reading my writing down below to find out what I did at golf.

Golf Night

Have you ever gone golfing? What a fun night it was. On Saturday 18th July I , my brother- ( Patrick) and my cousins went Golfing. We went there because my cousin-(Lupe) wanted to treat us.Golf is a sport some people play.

I put on my puffy rain jacket as I ran out the door with my cousins to the car.
I sat in the car with  my cousins as my brother put on some  music. My cousins and I  danced to the music as my cousin-(Lupe) drove. I giggled as my cousins danced.

As arving to the golfing area which was located around the airport we hop out of the car. I thought that it was going to be a bit warmer, I thought to myself. I ran beside my cousin -(Lupe) as I folded my arms. We walked to the corridor where you would pay your entrance and pay how many buckets of balls you wanted. We also collected our golf sticks which were called the drivers.

We then walked to collect our balls. Which came out of a big machine. We had ordered 2 buckets with 100 balls in each. We also ordered half a basket of balls.
After collecting our balls we then made ourselves to a spot which was located down a big hallway. As I walked I could see others in a separate area with their friends and family.

As we walked we founded a spot with no one, so we took the spot. We put our jackets and bags on an benach. We then arranged who was going first and we had turns. It was my turn. My face went red as I grabbed the golf stick- (drivers). I put one ball on the little tee and then stood in position. My heart beated as fast as if someone was beating drums. I hit the ball as my cousin-(Matekitonga) cheered for me.

I was quite proud of myself for trying even though it was my first time playing golf. I think people should really go and try golf because it’s quite fun.
